Sawyers,
Kettering 27/06/07
A
bit of an afterthought gig, really, arranged to tie in with the Soho
thing, but enjoyable nonetheless. Sawyers is a good wee place, run
by nice people, and with a cracking turkish takeaway next door too.
Aaaaand, on the subject of kebabs ... our Barnsley chums the Catch-It
Kebabs were also playing, and we got to admire their exquisite stagecraft
and showmanship (ie, if a song isn¹t getting an enthusiastic enough reaction,
drop your kecks). Genius. Pity they thought of it first.
Highlight: Kebabs with lots of meat next door
Lowlight: Kebabs with less meat on stage.
