West
End Festival,
Glasgow 10/06/07

A
considerably bigger than expected appearance in the local open air.
The organisers had moved the stages around a bit since last time
we played the festival, so we were astounded to have upwards of 1000
folk watching us when we went on.
And it were great. We even managed not to swear too much.
There was toddlers, neds and grannies, all bopping away together, sharing their
Sanatogen and flicking the Vs at the polis, who had temporarily lost their powers
over street-drinking.
Highlight: the guy who came out of the Western Infirmary, still in his hospital
gownie, drip in arm, to tell Jane how much he¹d enjoyed listening to us.
Lowlight: having to delay the soundcheck to let the parade past, and thus losing
about 15 minutes off our set. We could have happily played all day.
